You can delete your account and everything stored with it. There are two ways, and the first is immediate.
In the app — immediate
Open Profile, scroll to the bottom, and tap Delete account.
Your account is removed from the server first, and only once the server confirms is the phone cleared. The app will never tell you your data is gone while it is still held somewhere.
By email — if you cannot open the app
If you have lost the phone, or cannot get past the passcode screen, write to contact@cyberlynk.in from the address you registered with, asking for your account to be deleted.
We will confirm the request and delete the account within 30 days. We ask you to write from the registered address because it is the only thing that shows the account is yours — there is no other identity check, and we would rather refuse a stranger than delete somebody's prayers.
What is deleted
- Your name, mobile number and email address
- The hash of your passcode
- Every prayer session and circuit you have recorded
- Your favourites and playlists
All of it, permanently. There is no recovery and no grace period, because an account that can be restored has not really been deleted.
What is not deleted, because it was never ours
- Music you added from your phone. Those songs are yours and stay where they are. The app only ever held a reference to them.
- Anything still only on your device. Prayers walked offline and never synced are on the phone, not the server. Uninstalling the app removes them, or use Profile → Clear local data first.
Deleting the app without deleting the account
Uninstalling removes everything from the phone but leaves the account on the server, so signing in on a new phone brings your prayers back. If you want the account gone, use one of the two routes above before uninstalling — afterwards only the email route is left.
